The U.S. Navy wants dolphins and sea lions to patroll Puget Sound. The dolphins and sea lions would be protecting submarines from terrorists. The Navy thinks that they will be good for the job because they have the highest sensory that we know of now. The animals are also very fast swimmers and are able to swim all around the bay. Envirnmentalist do not like this idea though. They don't think the conditions are suited for the animals in the northern Pacific waters. They are worried about the differance in temperatures. Bottlenose dolphins are not native to the Puget Sound area.
I dislike the idea of the animals working to patroll the Puget Sound. I think the animals might get harmed in the act and also the conditions there are not suited for the animals even though they do have great abilities.

it would be so cool to have sea animals patrol waters, as long as the waters conditions are suitable for the animal.

It would be very good to have the dolphins help, as long as the situations would not put too many of the animals at risk.
